Yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 Kms from Ban Ganga Bridge in Katra. An alternate way to perform darshans is by battery operated cars, ponies/palkis/helicopter.
If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairo Temple. Now a ropeway connects Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairo Temple. After visiting the temples, return to the hotel in Katra and relax in your hotel.

Vaishno Devi is a place of the Goddess which is also said to be the holy cave of Devi that most of the Hindus believe.
